According to the December seasonal forecast, El Nino conditions persist and dry conditions will continue into 2016. Forecasted rainfall amounts show continued low rainfall, similar to the previous forecast (from Nov). This results in a hydrological forecast of continued low runoff, much lower than normal. Soil moisture is also forecasted as much lower than normal.
